Sawariya . well, let me keep this short and sweet, Since the other reviews have thoroughly described the plot and stuff, I ll just tell my version of the story.
I have managed to de-code the real message that Mr Bansali is trying to convey to the people, if you are a Tamilian you will probably understand this better, Sawariya(Savuriya?) in tamil means "Are you dying?'
there you go. people watching this movie in my opinion come pretty close to death! and thats what Mr Sanjay Leela Bansali expects, hence the movie is appropriately named.
The original russian story may perhaps be great, but what they have done out of it is not close to my definition of entertainment.
People are not really interested in watching the new Hero's back side, or his curves, lots of unnecessary hype for a movie that hardly conveyed anything.
My feelings after I came out of the movie - I wish I had carried my book along with a torchlite to watch the movie.
oh yes. and finally, I dont like the idea of making Rani a working girl time and again!
