Just watched this movie yesterday, sanjay leela bansali always has a diffrent story to tell he always has something diffrent to offer. Something we have never seen before a story we can watch which is all new and worth a watch. Sure devdas was a remake but it seemed new and it was a good movie and great cinema. Khamoshi was a fresh film, fresh ideas something which hardly ever gets told. Hum De Chuke Saanam was very diffrent. The main hero does not get the girl, the ending was emotional. Black was super amazing it was a masterpeace a story that has not been told alot, very emotional.
Saawariya is very diffrent from that yes the feel is that its a Sanjay Leela Bansali film. The sets are amazing the music is good, but we get to see a story we have seen 100 times. Yes people Saawariya Disapoints and it does it big time. The story is of a love triangle between Soonam, Ranbir and salman Khan. The film goes nowhere after interval its like its in a stand still. I was very excited about this movie more due to its a Sanjay leela bansali Film, But the newcommers disapoint big time too. Ranbir Kapoor Is nothing special people I can see another Sanjay kapoor in the making.
He will start of Huge, everyone loved Sanjay Kapoor back then now look at him? He had the same keys back then everyone though he could dance well and people thought he was the next big thing and very good looking. Ranbir has to make sure he doesnt do that he does act okay still needs to brush up dancing wise he is really good. Overal I still need to see more to know if he is a good actor. Overal an okay debute not the best debute ever. Anil kapoor said he has done an amazing debute and its the best performance from a dubute actor ever. Sorry Anil it is not Amair Khan was way better, so way jackie shroff, also Shahrukh khan in Deewana was better and so was hrithick. Ranbir was just Okay Soonam is really nice now I love this girl she is really sweet and I think she can act good if given the right role I think she is slightly better then ranbir acting wise she dances well too she will make it big if she goes the right way. Salman khan one word "WASTED" he looks old and out of shape. Rani Mukerji looks awful and acts really bad her worst performance in my view awful!
overal sorry people this is a sure miss, really boring drags big time, go watch it for the songs SLB has made the worst film of the year and he wraped it up real nice as well. He made it seem amazing its like a gift wraped up nice for show. Eg the promos looked good but when you open the gift the present is not good at all. Saawariya is like that the inside package is awful!
