Well, it's indias version of Spotify - heavily concentrated towards Indian music trends! Searching international not so famous songs is a task!
The app has 2 versions free and paid, the paid one comes with sixty rupees subscription a month and if you have it the difference is ad free songs which you can download and enjoy online.
As said before it’s the first Dian version of Spotify ir iTunes. They have a lot of curated playlist and have a large library of music to groove to on your request.
See my problem is I’m not one of the mainstream music gender lover and I do not support illegal music business that is downloading free songs from an illegal source that is because I want to support the artists I love and not because I have a lot of disposable income. I’m just being morally right.
But saavn doesn’t have those hidden gems. The international artists like kings of convienience, angered, Niels leafblad are not found here but yes you have those artists in Spotify or iTunes.
I would recommend to either use Spotify if you travel abroad just activate the app in those country, that allows you to use the app even when you’re in india or just use iTunes by paying 120 rupees which has a much bigger literary for both domestic and international markets.
