on M.G road next to cauvery emporium the moment u enter the pub and the posters on the wall will give u the big picture about the kind of pub and moshpit one is getting into the wall has posters of almighty eddie, cradle of filth and king diamond(mercyful fate),pantera.. and many.. though the music which carries the sense of freedom with it can be heard as loud as played outside the door and the moment one enters the pub and opens the door the whole world gets open to you which is as dark and cruel as the word STYX it self the dictionary meaning for styx is The principal river of the lower world, which had to be crossed in passing to the regions of the dead. a river in Hades across which Charon carried dead souls. so how do u expect all those sissy hearted drinkers to get in here with their dates.. sowwie this is not the place where girls like to come yes exceptions are there and wish bangalore had many of such girls. the pub is all about attitute with a big screen and music which can be heard from nook and corner of the pub is all metal.. and heavy from bands like iron maiden megadeth cradle of filth rob zombie pantera and sometimes the classical scene like ledzepplin, doors and u name them..

STYX usually has guest live performances and the latest was from bangalore's own darling kryptos they had the pub all on their toes begging for more and everyone with their hairs down moshing hard to some of the greatest original death tracks

Styx has a small bar and small floor size still amazingly ample space for everyone. service is good and fast with a array of all types of cocktails available. styx basically has aambience of any normal pub but what keeps it apart is the music so when pub world targets all the corporate happy people and purple haze for anyone who is happy with bryan adams styx is a place for serious moshers and who do understand the heavy duty sinister side of music.. hey hey.. m I sounding like a antichrist branding for styx.. believe me friends its not that scary place is loud and u'll still be heard
