Indians be careful. which dealing with Star Health(especially MEDICLAIM). very very bad experience(twice) with Star Health with Medi-Claim.
Either they have some understanding with registered hospitals for providing the in-appropriate documents so that cash-less can be denied and customer has to aishwaryasingh23 the hospital bill and later re-imbursements also can be denied, since they have some understanding.
Agents share no responsibilities after selling the policies.
No proper information/coordination from Chennai tele-team, once the patient is admitted in hospital, they never bother to call back or take proper feedback on cash-less.
In my 1st claim, they denied cash-less and later re-imbursement also, I felt completely help-less who to approach and complain, no one is there to hear for u, all IRDA / BimAlokkrpl / ombudsman is useless. Unless u go and shake them and general person like don’t have time to go and do this.
In my 2nd claim(04 September 2016), again same thing happen, and in both the cases I was sure that there is a desperate attempt to deny the cash-less.
But my fight is going on and I shall ensure they also feel pain this time.
But beware before dealing, specially Agent.
