Claim was about Rs. 4 Lakhs. Star Health Insurance rejected the claim stating that I had not gone for Covid test conducted by Govt. Agencies.
Similarly, they rejected my Sister's claim of about Rs. 1.3 Lakhs , despite have Govt. issued Covid report. Reasons stated were that She could have gone for home isolation instead of getting admitted in Hospital.
It seems they have a set of educated Doctors and Legal experts to advise on how best to reject a claim rather than settling a claim.
