Wish I had read the rest of reviews before taking the policy


However those who are reading it now, plz dont repeat the mistake, go for some renowned and established insurance company than star insurance, they may come up with lucrative plan, but they ensure that they make a fool of customers!


I tool senior citizen red carpet, when the claims were submitted, they declared it to be under exclusions(though no satisfactory answers given even after repeatedly asking) . They eventually asked us to approach their grievance cell, which as usually took time, quoting they r getting it reviewed by doctors, but if they really went to doctors, I doubt if their doctors are stupids as well, who dont understand the difference between JOint replacement and other joint treatments .!


Anyways so that claim was lost, even after that I dont know why I thought to atleast renew the insurance for next year .and just then I saw in'fine prints' in renewal notification(page which just came before final transfer of money) stating the changes in policy terms.


WHen I called up customer care, nobody was able to explain me well .after lot of pursuance hesitatingly they admitted that the policy rules have been changed, and those are not at all customer friendly .


I couldnot believe, since if they are changing policy .I should be better inform.the changes brought the snr citizen policy to any regular insurance policy.So all that drama of lucrative terms was only for 1 year, next year onwards it all changed, and ironically they said they had to change due to IrDA rule! come on whom r u fooling .atleast get some decent  excuses ready for urself!
