I Had taken insurance in ther year 2008 for my mother ank kept paying insurance to Star Health for 9 years Approx Rs.91000.00 . Mother was admitted at Hospital and at the time of Discharge they only Sanctioned Rs.50000.00 against Bill of Rs.125000.00 .
Not only that they also took one whole day to send discharge approval to Hospital and thus resulting in charge of Room for full day as the Approval Mail was send at PM 9:30.This was done after I made more that 50 phone calls otherwise the approval would have come next day.
Again next week my mother was admitted to same hospital and this time I thought of NOT taking Cash less claim as Star health would again take full day to send discharge approval to hospital.
