This book is very handy and easy to use for SSC cgl tier 1 exam. It is a good book for starting your preparation for tier 1 exam.
There is 60+ sets of previous year exam and mock test for evaluation of your preparation for tier 1 exam.
Concept and techniques are good and many shortcut tricks are available in this book for faster approach for solving question in exam. But deep knowledge for overall exam of SSC means tier 2 it not quite enough for that, you have to consider some other book for that but if you are a begginer for SSC exam you should start with this book. A very good book with a good publication.
