Hi Readers I too purchased my first car Santro Xing from SPS Hyundai and I was fooled by the dealer on the corporate discount. While booking, I was told it is Rs. 5000 for Santro. While taking delivery the corporate discount was only Rs. 3000 . Why should I be cheated and told a false commitment at the time of booking and a real face be shown after I had paid all the money? Nobody from SPS Hyundai assisted me to get the status of the Corporate Discount that was offered even after 5 months of purchase of my Santro. When contacted, nobody was ready to respond. Murugan and Pavan the sales reps(cheat reps) started making comments on me on the phone. I got pissed off and posted this issue in Hyundai India page in Facebook as I can never accept being cheated.
The same evening Murugan, the sales rep started spoiling mine and my family's peace by calling on my cell phone at times when I sleep. Also he spoke unprofessionally to my wife who answered the call as I was sleeping. I came to office for my night shift and called him back to ask what his problem was, Pavan and Murugan started threatening me together saying they know my office, they know my home.
Only because my father is a retired teacher and he believes in non violence, I kept myself from complaining against these people and HYUNDAI in police. ANother wonderful thing, the GM of SPS Hyundai Thiruvallur would never answer my call in his cell number as he knows I ask for justice and justification for the scam they have done. HYUNDAI has eaten by 2000 rupees giving fake offer while booking and also the Corporate disocunt of 3000 hasn't yet reached me.
Another criminal thing - Murugan never gave me the spare car key(2nd key) while delivery even though mine is a ready cash purchase. I kept on pushing him and got tired to get my 2nd key. These people(HYUNDAI) treats finance purchasers(HP) and ready cash purchases equally. How can Hyundai keep my car key after delivery when its ready cash deal. Perhaps Murugan would have planned to steal the car and sell it outside before the insurance was done since mine was a Pooja delivery.
This is what I can conclude from their behavious when the rule is that they MUST provide both the keys to customer on ready cash purchase. I wasted my hard earned 4.2 lacs on HYUNDAI. Even HYUNDAI won't listen to you at all. They'll be after you until u settle full payment and then u r fools to them. Be careful peeople. Service also seems the worst.
SPS HYUNDAI REDHILLS, Chennai never gave me the service bill saying its 0 bill(First Service) when the rule is that even 0 bill services need bills. Totally HYUNDAI people are worst. Go for Maruti, Toyota, RENAULT. They have wonderful vehicles. HYUNDAI is a stupid Korean piece. Nothing great about the car. No features.

After long and hook follow ups and requests(almost begging) I could get my Rs. 3000.00 as Corporate Discount. AS said before Murugan from SPS hyundai cheated me and robbed my Rs. 2000.00 with false promises. Additionally he had shown me the insurance premium during booking for my Santro as Rs. 14677 when the actual insurance premium paid was Rs. 10, 240.00 (including taxes).
So there he ate another Rs. 4400.00. He sucked my Rs. 6400.00 and that's what SPS trains these people to do. Never never never buy a single bolt or nut from SPS Hyundai, they cheat, loot and drink customer's blood worse than leeches. All and above my car was delivered with a faulty AC condenser which led to AC gas leakage in my 5th month.
Fortunately KUN Hyundai Ambattur did a fine job with my car and got it replaced. Santro, as per my 8 months experience(4400 kms odo till date) is a good family car for local and highways.
Have covered stretches like Chennai - Bangalore twice, Chennai - Tuticorin, Tuticorin - Kutralam - Pabanasam - Ambasamudram - Tirunelveli -Tuticorin; Chennai to Kalahasthi(AP), Chennai - Kancheepuram, Vandaloor, Mangadu Temple, etcc.
Overall experience inside the car was and is good. But SPS Hyundai are robbers, scamsters. I would better recommend KUN Hyundai if you insist on a Hyundai car.
