Hi folks,This is my first review & I am writing this as I read some experiences from the user of SBI card but my experience is even before using the same.When ever I go to vishal mega mart I always encounter with the sales guys of SBI card so once I thought let's get the same but that was my worst decision as after filling the application form I start getting calls from bank for verification( At least 8-9 calls) not only this they called me on my cell as well as on my office & personal land line phones also that was not enough they even visited my home & get the verification from there also along with the form filled by my family member. after so much verification at last I got the PIN for the said card.
But strange I didn't received my card even after a month time & when I called up there call center I was told that your card could not be delivered as address is not traced & we are again dispatching the same you will get the same with in next 7 days.But again no card received.
Even after my several repeated calls they were not able to deliver my card...
1) if they are able to trace my address at the time of verification why not for card delivery. More over they contacted me on all my phone numbers at the time of verification why they didn't call me if they were not able to deliver my card????
2) At last I was told that we can't deliver the card without your presence if they have verified so much why they can not deliver the same??? & what was the problem in telling about the courier I would have coordinated myself???
3) even I gave them the solution that either you can send the card on Sunday or I will leave my id proof at home & you can hand over the same to any of my family member after verification of my id proof. But still failed...
4) The worst experience was when I told there CCE to cancel my card as you are neither able to deliver my card nor able to tell me the correct reason for non-delivery of same SURPRINGLY THEY SIMPLY SAID OK SIR WE WILL NOT SEND YOU THE CARD ANY MORE NOT EVEN THEY TRIED TO RETAIN ME ONCE....
If this kind of customer service they are providing even before issuing a card than I think most of your experience must be very true.........
