It is very sad to understand that SBI, such a premium and big establishment does not have its own credit card division. They have frnachised the services to a another big known company called GE Money. They have floated the card and other various schemes. Today they are managing the card services also.
Our experience, being a consumer organisation, had been very very poor. We get lot of complaints from various consumers about the functioning of this organisation. No. of times, glaring mistakes have been pointed to them and efforts have been made to rectify them, but still they continue. That shows how sensitive this organisation is.
We will like to highlight that this Bank's management has been in collusion with this organisation. This organissation is not worth handling such a big job of handling the credit card services. The management of this organisation has spent money to get the job and they got it. Reasons are claer. When we write to the CMD of the SBI, we do not get any revert from his office, but our complaint is directed to the GE MOney office and we get a reply from them. That shows that the management is very silent on the issue and does not know anything how to handle it and thsu referes your complaint to them only for reply.
We all need to make others aware about it so that consumers do not get trapped. It is our sincere advice not to get carried with this Bank's credit card.
