YES THIS REVIEW is not in the favour of SBI Card. Even if my review changes the mindset of one new customer of SBI Credit Card... Then it absolutely worth of writing this review..
I have challenged the SBI credit card department that I will write the review on internet with facts.
So here it is:
I was happy with my life . .Till this moronic call came to me last year.
The lady sounded very polite and she asked me if I was interested in the SBI Credit Card. Infact am the one who refuse to take such product promotion calls.. But this lady started speaking in the regional language and told me... That if I agree to take the card on the phone and later cancel it.. iTs okay.
But me saying yes to her.. She can complete the quota of that month. I was harrased by this girl.. and later I thought chalo.. let me take that card anyways SBI has good network.
But then the trouble staretdd... They started calling me left and right for all sorts of documnets and the people who give you call are very arrogant..
Then after I got the card .. I got another call - Do you need a DD of Rs.12000 and which you can repay by 12 months.. which is zero percent interest.
I said okay.. whats harm in taking that promotional offer.. But guys, It was not an promotional offer.. It was a trap and once I got that 12K.. They blocked my card and told me to repay the entire amount in shot .. till then my card is blocked.
I started getting calls to my house ... They were ABUSIVE.
I had a an arguement with all the sales / callers of SBI. I did not have a choice .. they dont even allow you to do a balance transfer with ease.. I arranged for some 35000 and cleared my credit .. In actual it was only 24000.
The bank does not value the customer.. They need learn from other banks..
Please do not apply for the SBI card..
They are abusive to customer..
They have girls who speak like call girls.. till you apply the credit card.
Their recovery agents are goondas...
Language of supervisor in the customer care (Customer Dont care) are very bad.
They charge interest which is very high.
The worst bank in India..
