SBI credit card charges unnecessary amount, which won't be explained as to what those charges are for. I had used this SBI Gold & More Credit Card, and whenever I get a statement, there are charges like 200 Rs, 190 Rs, 180 Rs etc etc, on every month’s statement with your expenses on the card and you will end up paying extra amount which is not explained in the statement.
Though you call the customer care, they will explain so and so service charges, and others, but none of these will be told before buying the card.
One more thing, if you go to BigBazaar after paying your items bill, there are SBI Credit Card people standing at the counters, they will just take your bill and inform you, we will give discount, and take your details, to provide you a FBB credit card or any SBI card, just IGNORE THEM COMPLETELY, the catch here is to loot money from you, by making you spend more than the offer or what not, don't give them any bills, tell them you are not interested.
I agree there will tax, but what are those small amount charges which are never explained? Unnecessarily why pay your hard earned money to the SBI Credit Card small amounts?
I have closed this SBI credit card as of now. They will try to offer reward points and others, so to continue using the Credit Card, when you want to close it. Just ignore all those offers they provide and close it, by calling the customer care number provided on the back of your credit card.
So overall will not recommend to avail this SBI credit card, whichever they have Gold, Silver or Bronze:D
