I always used to opt for SRS Travels by default, while travelling between Mumbai and Bangalore. But I had very bad experience while travelling from Bangalore(Anand Rao Circle) to Mumbai(Borivali East) on Dec. 20.
The bus started 25 min. late from Anand Rao Circle, and continued getting more & more late subsequently; and finally dropped at destination five hours late. Luckily I had not planned any further journey the same day.
The system of tagging checked-in baggage is broken. On the way, the bag(from bus dicky, BUT was tagged) of family at seat no. 7(destination Lonavala) had been handed over to another passenger who got down(earlier) at Pune(because both bags were similar in appearance, as per Pune-bound passenger, do not know what was it tagged for!); and this was discovered at Lonavala. Later, at Borivali East(Mumbai), SRS staff discovered that tag attached to my bag(which was checked-in at Bangalore) was missing. I produced corresponding counterfoil. However because of earlier goof-up on very same journey, I was made to prove it was my bag, by making me open its lock with key I had, at Borivali East.
No complimentary water bottle was served as promised while booking at makemytrip. Movies at least 5 years old were screened through journey, with very low audio(volume not made audible, inspite of my request for four times, as well as by other passengers).
Finally, I was dropped 400 metres after designated spot at destination stop(National Park, Borivali East); and attempt to hoodwink was made by claiming that it was the designated spot. Being frequent traveller on this route, I know spot was supposed to be 100 metres before National Park entrance.
