I shared my personal experience on Rukh . A wonderfully conceived and executed movie by a debutant director, Rukh creates an atmosphere of mystery, suspense, human relationships and till the last minute demanded complete attention of sensible and sensitive members of the audience. It is slow paced, unlike modern thrillers but never allows the mind to be diverted. Great acting by newcomers and a good musical score, however, may not be able to bring in the moolah. The film gives us the point of view of Dhruv ( Gourav) , who is left holding a crumbling home in the absence of his father ( Bajpayee) , as he seeks answers from his worried mother ( Tambe) , old grandfather who is losing his memory, and the unctuous old friend ( Mishra) , who was also his father’s dodgy business partner.
There’s a somberness to the way this chronicle of a death unfolds, which holds your attention. Some scenes sit heavily, though. And if you are an alert viewer, you will figure out what happened much before the big reveal. But the rest holds.
Some interesting casting choices are in here. As the young fellow, fighting his own weaknesses, and being confronted with his father’s, Gourav veers appropriately between resentment and bewilderment. Mishra plays an unethical businessman, and a guy with distinct shades of grey; nice to see him play an un-benign character.
But I do have a quibble. There’s not enough of the powerhouse Bajpayee in the film? . I was left wanting more of his ‘Rukh’.
The music was also very bad not good songs and sound
The cinematograpy was very very very bad it was like kahi bhi kuch bhi dal diya. The story was good but cinematograpy makes it really bad look
So in my opinion plz dont watch this movie it was just time waste
