-I have admitted my mother in Ruby Hall, Pune and they suggested me to admit her in ICU.
-She was facing a problem of stomach pain since last one day before admission.
-On first day after admission in ICU I was sure that Ruby Hall ICU is the best ICU in Pune.
-But when I saw the first night scene in ICU I could not believe, that Ruby hall ICU is horrible.
-All staff is untrained and the doctors of ICU are just like the compounder. I doubt that they have any degree. Any of the doctor has not more that 2-3 years experience.
-In day time, because of presence of a senior doctor and ICU director, all staff behaves so so. But in night ICU converted into a fun making place of doctors and nurses. They speak so loudly that no patient can sleep. And after 2:00 AM, most of the staff of ICU enjoys sleeping.
-I can’t believe those training type doctors are attending the critical patients.
-They could not save my mother and now I think that this was my big mistake to admit my mother in Ruby ICU. -Even her condition was ok at the time of admission and after 4 days of admission, one compounder ( I used this word for the Ruby’s ICU doctors because no one can believe that they are doctors after passing a day in ICU) informed me that my mother is very serious and there are few chances to save her life.
-I did a mistake and I will recommend that don’t prefer Ruby ICU.
-And If anyone wants to see a GI ( gestro) doctor don’t go to Dr. Sheetal.
-I can’t say anything about any other hospital ICU. But this was my first experience of ICU and believe me that my mother was there for 5 days and I never sleep for these five days and nights and continuously monitoring the staff, doctors and my mother. I am very much sure that other hospital ICU may be much batter. I recommended to Ruby admin to install CCTV cameras for monitoring there staff, specially in night.
-One more solid observation, if they asked you to shift your patient to ventilator. Just consider that your patient condition is very serious and your patient will have only two or three days of life. So batter to speak to your patient before shifted to ventilator because after ventilator your patient will not able to speak because of a pipe inserted into the patient mouth and patient hands will be locked with bed and your patient will be helpless in case he/she facing any problem and just watch you with helpless eyes till death.
And after some time (may be after one or two day) you think that your patient is sleeping but in actual he/she already died but because ventilator is running so you will not feel it. And after that you will be informed that your patient is serious with few chances.
And they start some injections for maintaining the BP and heart rate (this is an idea of making money) after two or three days when you realize that your patient is not doing any activity, you will be asked by doctor that we are helpless to save her because of multiple organs failure.
I have explained this on behalf of my experience and some other patients who died during these five days.
