Yep! You read it right. That is unless you want to get ROYALLY SCREWED, never ever do business with them. As long as you do NOT require any help from support(read SUCKpport, they really are) or you do NOT need to claim for insurance, they look, speak, behave nicely.
I had requested an address change before renewing my insurance policy last week, these guys promised me to do that asap and assured me that the original policy will be sent to the new/updated address. Not even two days of promise, I get a message indicating the policy document was sent to OLD ADDRESS.
Funny that the SUCKPPORT folks refuse to accept their mistake and tells me that it is customers(my) mistake that I should have requested the address change atleast TWO MONTHS before the renewal date. What rubbish! nonsense!. not over. the worst is yet to come. the support folks slam the phone down saying they do not have anything more to talk, they go to an extend of saying go to court, file a case. we dont care.
While I will sure look for legal options to make them fall in line, I am stuck with them at least for the time being. I would caution all the users to be careful with sundaram insurance. They seem to be the worst in the industry.
I will update this post, just in case I hear from them again(unlikely though)
