My experience with Royal Sundaram and one of his tie up partners SBI Cedit cards are disgusting to the core.
First they say you have been picked out of all the geese in the world, then they convince you that every mild illness is covered in the scheme and once you have beleived in them, they give you a confirmation call where they want only an YES answer from you. They read out the policy in a second, if you are sharp enough you can catch it that all problems related to Health are exempt in their policy. So you are just going to pay the premiums for the sake of benefitting the Marketing Executive who called you and Royal Sundaram, never will you in a position to benefit at any cost.
Once you have said YES they decide as to how many policies are to be taken, you will realise once you get your credit card statement. 9 you would have applied for 2 family members, but they would enroll all the family members. the executive also decides on your behalf that the premium will be paid in installments so as to pay an equal amount of your premium as Interest.
I am still to get out this mess. I have not payed my credit card bill as I have requested SBI and Royal Sundaram to negotiate and pay the bill themselves.
