Have any of you tried Seagram’s Royal Stag Whisky? No? If you do enjoy your drink and have not tried Royal Stag, then you are missing something. Yes if you are a heavy drinker then it does not matter what brand you drink, because then the whisky is drinking you up and not you drinking the whisky.

Drinking alcoholic drinks has been in vogue since times immemorial. There are various reasons for drinking. Some drink as a social necessity, some drink to get drunk, some drink to forget sorrow, some drink in celebration, some drink to show that they can, while some others drink to defy an order, some drink as a force of habit. The ancient sages had ‘som ras’ and in the modern day it is whisky, rum, brandy, wine or beer. By whatever name you may like to call it, whatever the method of distillation and maturing, it is all designed to give intoxication to the drinker in varying degrees depending on the alcohol content. It is not only the alcohol content of the drink, but also the individual constitution of the person drinking that has to do with the level of intoxication caused. One or two pegs may send one individual amongst the clouds, while another may not even begin to feel anything after four or five pegs too.

Whatever the reason, or lack of it, most men and many ladies do drink. I love my drink and have one peg every evening. On certain occasions, specially during a party or when I get some company, I have two or three pegs, but I make it a point never to exceed my limits. I have tried many different brands of whisky but I have finally settled for Seagram’s Royal Stag. In the mid range, I find that this is the best. I find that this a very smooth and tasty whisky. I used to get a hang over whenever I drank even if I have had just two or three pegs. A hang over is the worst thing as it spoils the entire next day. With Royal Stag I find that I never get a hang over.
