Cons:Weight

Recently I bought Thunderbird in Dec` 08 and this is my first review about it. To describe it in two words "IT’s REALLY AWESOME' normally I like to race in chennai traffic and my initially choice was YAMAHA RZ-15 but my dad wasn’t interestin in gettin me one. lucky we went for a Thunderbird test drive and to my expectation it was good but gave me immense pleasure while drivin it on the 80s.

I don’t comprise on anythin but actually this bike is more comfortable in driving long drives than any other bike. I am driving it crazy rite from the day I bought it. Recently my work got moved to ECR, so daily riding from my home which is around 40kms to office is great fun. I am damn serious about it. man I bet "this is the best bike for long driving"

The pickup won’t be so great like any other bike in the 150cc segment but while maintainin on the 60-80s you can very well bet all of them. I got to know that all these calculations are based on the mentality on the driver & also skills he has got in handling the bike in those speeds. Speakin about the mileage, I am also satisfied with it - I get around 50-55kmpl(since I drive long distance which would be like 100kms/day) and in city traffic I get around 40-45kmpl. But maintenance wise its zero maintenance.

The only cautious thing about this bike is its heavy. One should be able to balance the bike in idle condition before trying to ride it on the first time(for ur safetyJ). If not you would assume its heavy while driving it. My only advise for the buyers would be don’t get frightened about the weight you can easily balance the bike while driving it(its all learning experience)

I recommend this bike for all those who don’t want to invest for pleasure which may last for few months/year and go for long lasting fun while driving. When compared to price & mileage of all the 150cc bike this would be a better choice for the money you spend.
