I bought this bike on february 2017 for 1, 63, 000rs. before buying this bike I went to four or five nearby Royal enfield showrooms to find out its price discounts or any special offers given by those showrooms, and possible date of delivery.
and one showroom offered me for 1, 63, 000rs, with 2-weeks delivery time, remaining all showrooms asked for at least 45-days to 2-months time to deliver the bike.
so I bought that bike from the showroom who said less deliver time. after riding the bike I observed that some sound is coming from front wheel or front disc brake. I showed it to showroom but of no use. they are unable to repair it.
I noticed I got mileage around 35 to 40kmph.
and after few days I traveled to Hyderabad from vizag on thunderbird. almost 630km journey. after going for 150km, I started getting heavy back pain, i'm unable to sit. I took my bike to nearby Royal enfield showroom, and changed engine oil, and got it serviced. in the mean while I took some rest.
and after taking some rest, I again started journey. but this time after another 150km, I am completely unable to site on bike, started getting heavy back pain. so I again halted for a while and had lunch.
and after going for another 150km again pain started. so I started taking rest for every 150km.
and finally reached Hyderabad.
so through out the journey what I noticed is that pick-up is not much as I have expected. even though it is of 350CC but still it goes like a 150CC bike.
and due to the sitting posture of bike, and bike handle positioning,
we will get heavy back pain.
so comfort is not at all good.
and if we have to move the bike in small gaps manually by moving forward & backward, by ourselves without starting engine, then we will see hell.
if fuel is over, you can't move the bike much, you will get tired.
so always have to refuel in advance before is gets empty.
reliability, road grip & appeal are good.
but mileage, pick-up, & sitting posture are not good.
