I am a very proud owner of a LIGHTNING 535 which has given me 25000 kms and still going strong. SHAME ON ALL OF YOU who own a thunderbird and consider it a bullet it is just a BABY BIRD the worst decision that bullet did was to discontinue this bike. TREAT IT LIKE A WIFE AND IT SHALL RESPOND LIKE THAT . The drive is a dream although knocking occurs at speeds below 40km , drive it only after being familiar with the basic mechanical know how and previous bullet expereince in gear changing, requires constant care and attention and . keep clutch cables handy as they ARE NOT EASILY AVAILAIBLE. The bike loves the highway and hates cities.My bike gives me 20km to a ltr BUT IT IS WORTH IT.
SIMPLY PUT THERE IS NO COMPARISON for when lightning 535 strikes the road the others are left behind
