Hi friends, I bought RE Classic 350 Silver finally.: ) . It was a tough choice choosing between thunderbird and Classic 350, but due to the styling and practicality of classic 350, I went for it. Yes, after using the bull for 2 months I now know how much distance my bull can go with this petrol and even if I am are riding in reserve, I can go upto atleast 50kms. The bike has poor fitand finish and hence rough riding will cause the parts to come loose so proper riding technique is required. The engine becomes too hot and its advisable not to make children play near the bull. The bull is returning fuel efficiency figure of 35 to38kmpl as I ride at speed above 45 and can reach upto 60. The classic 350 has good powerful headlamps and is pleasant to ride during night. The classic 350 has spring type seats, hence we have 2 comfort factors , one is the rear and front suspension another is the seats spring which make sure rider has a smoothride. The RE has startup issue in morning for which the solution I found was to slowly push thekicker until a high pressure forms and then give aa nice kick ( please dont use self start in morning) . The paint quality is poor as one small rub with a metal ( eg: helmet) can cause a scratch. the pillion seat is not as comfortable as rider seat and can cause pain after 50kms. the bike has good braking system but rear tends to lock if pressure applied is high. the bike has goodhorn sound and is intimidating. thats all for now from my observation.
