Royal enfield has emerged as a choice of youth today but they are looting the customers. Here is my experience about my classic 350 white color.
The pricing is too high as compared to several performance and cruising motorcycles. It costed me INR 1, 53, 980 on road Lucknow UP.
Here is my bad experience. The only thing good is comfort. This bike is not at all reliable as my bike engine stopped when I was cruising at 80 KMPH and I was lucky that I escaped that situation. It was 2: 30 midnight, fuel level was half tank and it is a new motorcycle and just driven 350 kms. I had to really drag it for 4 odd kilometres to get it toed on a tempo whom I had to request like anything. The service center has given me no reason.
I had to wait for 6 months to get it and I do not think its worth. Ride quality is okay and engine starts knocking at 30 kmph in 3rd gear and in city you have to shift the gears a lot in city traffic.
The fuel economy is around 35 kmpl. There is no reason to get the exact as there is no fuel gauge or trip meter. It can give you a hard time if you overlook refilling and resulting in dragging your bike to the nearest gas station.
The build quality is also not impressive as the handlebar vibrates above 80 kmph and needs to be replaced with a heavy one. The should provide tubeless tyres as standard as the safety can go for a toss if riding such a heavy motorcycle and you face a puncture or tyre burst.
My bikes rear wheel got wobbling issues in the first week and was getting rubbed against the mudguard which decoloured the mudguards' paint into pale from white. The finish is also not nice.
Even though the bikes are compared to american motorcycles but they need to work on their quality a lot.
