My review about C350 in a single sentence-"This is not a perfect motorcycle, But once you ride it, none of the others will satisfy you! "

I have been using RE Classic 350 for the past 2 years. This is one of the good model from RE family. When I planned to buy this one, there were so many people discouraged me not to buy new ones, as every one thinks, only old ones are good. Before buying, like everyone else, I also searched for the user reviews in various websites. It was confusing rather than helping at that time.

Then I went for test ride, it impressed me very well and I booked it.(Had to wait another 8 months for delivery). From my 2 years of riding I would like to share few things about Classic 350 from my experience. It is not suitable for you economchandru021y if you want to use it for mere commuting purpose. It gives an average mileage of 35kmpl on highways and in city 30 kmpl. Initially I used to get up to 46 kmpl. It still gives you 40 kmpl if you are riding it in 45-55 kmph speeds.

(Fact is that you will not ride in that speed because if you are above 70kmph then only you will get a smoother ride) Any trip shorter than 40-50 km will not give much satisfaction(i meant in positive sense) because you may feel that you reached  your destination so soon.

And if you are worried about petrol prices, maintenance costs then also it is not suitable for you. You can simply ride a 100 km even without a single stop for refreshment. It gives utmost comfort and handling to the rider;yeah I mean only to the rider.Comfort for the pinion rider is less than that of normal commuting bikes. But it is not an issue for the distance upto 50 km.

Best for continuous longer rides(I did a continuous 500+ km in 8-9 hrs with only less than 1 hour taken for pit stops that also in the slots of 5-10-20 minutes).

It has a small vibration in slow speeds due the high power from the engine. This causes a small visibility problem in night rides through the rear view mirrors as the mirrors gets shaken. But in top speeds(above 70kmph) its is so smooth. Yes just opposite to other bikes, as normal bikes are tend to vibrate in top speeds and smooth in slow speeds.

Headlight focuses not only the center of the road, but also the both sides of the road. The result is better visibility in night rides. And high beam also so powerful. It reaches a very decent distance. Wide tires are not only adds beauty to it;safety also.(From my experience- I had a sudden break jam followed by a fall in the big pothole @ the speed of 60 but the C350 stopped awesomely with not losing the control-It was a life saving moment for me)

Cost of each paid service may come in the range of Rs 800-2500(During free services the same will be Rs 150-800). And the ground clearance of the C350 is little bit low, this increases of the chance of  hitting the central stand portion as well as the tail of silencer(company fitted standard one) on to the road; if the back wheel falls in a big pothole and rarely on larger speed breakers.

(Reduce speed and the problem is solved) thanks to the heavy duty silencer I never had any dent due to this except the minor scratches.I think fitting an off road silencer(provided by company itself for approx Rs3+K) clears this issue. (Company recommends changing the silencer only after second service). If the rear brake is not well adjusted(having more play) the brake pedal may touch the road, if we apply rear brake in curves.

Every vehicle has its own positives and negatives, and for this one the positive covers all its negatives. In my opinion, totally C350 is a good choice, But if you can afford a C500 go for it. ;)

Thanks for reading my review,
