Bullet is a class of its own. There is a special charm in this bike. One has to own it to feel it. However there are lot of things which needs to be improved without disturbing the basic design of the bike. The quality of the material used in manufacturing the accessories are sub standard compared to the Japanese bikes.
The paint work is pathetic. The exhaust pipe/silencer requires a replacement once in two years. The wheels rims and mud guards gets rusted within a span of two years. The battery box enclosure is rusted and requires a replacement.
I own a Suzuki Fiero and a bullet. The Suzuki Fiero still looks new and my bullet is rusted and most of the parts have been replaced. The manufacturing year has been same for both the bikes (2000).
I hate to see my bullet in this condition.
I strongly feel a legendary bike can be subjected to the latest manufacturing technology.
Thanks !
