I'm writing this review with lot of disappointment after waiting for nearly six months to get one Bullet Electra UCE. The demand & the hype created in the market is very high but when it comes to reality regarding the quality of the end product its a big zero. I got my bike on 1st of OCT 2011 & by 5th of OCT 2011 my bike had visited the service station more than five times. It would stop abruptly in the middle of the road making it impossible to move any further. No matter how much ever you crank the self start or kick the kicker it would never start untill someone from the royalenfield service station comes & attends it. All the times the bike was taken to the service centre & would take some one hours time & return the bike telling it was a minor issue of dust in the tank & subsequently in the carburetor. But again after few kilometers the problem would repeat & this happened three times.Atlast after the third time they have changed the carburetor & the vehicle has done nearly 80 kms without any trouble. I have to see wether this will solve the problem. But if it gets resolved , then what is the pre despatch inspection team at Royal enfield doing ? Is this the quality they pass on to the customer ? I'll tell you i'm seriously worried to take this bike anywhere thinking of the sudden stops in between the road. Seriously this is not the kind of feeling one should have after buying such a costly bike waiting for months together. I think Royal enfield should take such issues seriously & give Quality product to the customer. If the problem persists I will seriously sell this bike & buy an Avenger. Japnese bikes are much much reliable than our Domestic bikes because of the stringent quality norms been followed all through the manufacturing , sub assemblies , final assemblies & testing. I would definetly not recommend any one to go for such a costly bike & get into unwanted trouble , instead go for smaller bikes which are more reliable.
