I am not a book worm but I do appreciate good books.And wen I read ROSIE DUNNEi couldnt wait to write a review on it.
my darling little friend suggested this book to me and I know ill be grateful to her all my life.
well,ROSIE DUNNE is written by CECELIA AHERN.it is abt these childhood freinds[i wont call them childhood sweethearts coz they werent!!]ALEX and ROSIE.They grow up together and r the best of freinds but then along the yrs destiny separates them.......ok I know wat u r thinking......so hold on.....its not just another book where childhood friends discover love for each other and live happily ever after!
so let me tell you why you shuld read dis book..CECELIA AHERN has written this book in a unique fashion.the whole book is in the form of chits and emails ......gosh!its so cute!!the book starts with chits ALEX and ROSIE used to write to each other during maths lecture.....with all those innocent spelling mistakes of six yr olds...and goes on to emails and online chatting......there is not one dull moment and will keep you waiting for more.
ROSIE DUNNE makes you laugh and cry with her .its subtle comedy makes for light reading.you wont even realize wen time passes by.lifes so short!!
i had a wonderful experience reading the book.it is so realistic I could easily relate to the situations and characters.a refreshing change from ordinary romance novels.
the auther has also written P.S.I LOVE YOU which is also supposed to be as lovely.those who liked BRIDGET JONES DIARY are likely to like this too.
by the way the book is also known as WHERE RAINBOW ENDS in U.K.
this book is not easily available in ordinary libraries. My friend got it from crosswords ....you can try out there.
