Rose Garden, Chandigarh Overview. Located in sector 16 of Chandigarh, Rose Garden is a blooming garden which showcases nature at its best. The garden is spread over a massive area of 30 acres and is packed with an exquisite variety of flowers making it quite popular among tourists and nature enthusiasts.
It is a gorgeous garden with plenty of variety of roses which you would have never heard of also. The best time to visit these grounds is during the rose celebration during the month of February or March. It is overwhelming to see so many different varieties of roses which give a dazzling view. I had seen so many roses which I never knew existed also. The park is kept up very well so quite inspiring. private grounds is huge open property having lots of rose variety. Its hugely open and could be superior to have 50 more trees within the grounds over the next 3 years. assembly should provide more benches to sit & should prohibit any eatables inside the garden nor allow hawkers to operate outside on the footpath.
Should keep a Nursery and have information on rose types & their growth series etc. Here we can see similar kinds of ROSES having a different color, different sizes, etc. There are more than 110 types of roses in the garden. Great variety of Roses, if you are a rose person, please do visit it. But not sure if they have retained the quality of the place. Could be better retain.
