I went to see Rockstar with great expectations but ended up banging my head against a rock and seeing stars.
The film has lifeless narration with scenes switching from Prague to Delhi/Mumbai leaving the viewer confused.Both the lead characters are shown as crazy and that is what the movie ends up as.
Chaotic, confused, directionless are the words that best describe the flick.
The opening few minutes till the time "Jordan" dons his robe and picks up his guitar seemed to indicate that we are going to witness magic from Imtiaz again; from that point onward, everything was sans energy(barring the mad smooches).
Compare this with the recent "Mausam" or even the old "Jab We Met" and it stands nowhere near those in terms of class.
I will not take away credit from Ranbir and the rest for their performances.;some breathtaking cinematography and good music are the only reason I am giving it a one star; this does not deserve more than this
An excellent plot which has been spoilt; Imtiaz, the audience has been cheated.
