Rockland hospital located in Qutub Institutional area in South Delhi is a five star hotel with turbaned servicemen opening the door for you...nice?Wait till you are caught by the salesperson in the lobby, then starts the dole outs. The hospital is extremely expensive with poor nursing and paramedic care. My father in law got admitted for Lymphoma (just because the onco-surgeon I wanted him to be under only practices here).
I was billed for many things which were not at all done eg. Ventilator care (never used), blood transfusion (I donated) etc. They were eventually corrected as I could spot these being a doctor...but the intention remained of overbilling and fleece the patient as much as possible. What if I was a layman...a non-medico? The obturator charged here costs twice as much as Batra Hospital. They send their patients to a very specific CT scan centre in the city and if you get it done from anywhere else its not accepted with an open mind.
Overall, its a hotel where the service is nothing to write about...a hotel where you are charged much much more than anywhere else and leave you in your underpants. I would advise all readers to stay away from this hospital even if you are rolling in money.
