What the selectors want to show by selecting him at the age of 35.There are so many youngster better then Robin waiting to get a call from our selectors, but our selectors for the reason unknown to me keeps on Selecting him for one-dayers.
All he does is bowl just 2-3 overs and get hit for more then 20 runs, or sometimes more then that.and the less spoken about his batting is good.Most of the times he scores runs when the match is completly lost,and he scores 60-80 runs but never give a try to win the match,What's the use of scoring runs when all you have to do is try for win rather then scoring run to make your place safe in the team.
Australia's Micheal Bevan also comes under allrounder category and look the difference between him and our Robin.
I think the selectors should give the youngsters the chance becuause as soon the youngsters get exposure to International level it is better for Indian Cricket.
