When I saw trailer of this movie first time, it just clicked. I found it very Hollywood types(hunt for anaconda types). What impressed me further was that White Tiger or Tigress(not sure as I have started writing background of review while advertisements are being played in multiplex). Today afternoon I heard this anchor praising about technicians and visual effects of this movie and recommending this movie. Since I had no other plans I decided to watch this movie.
Frankly I quite under estimated this movie and was worried if multiplex will be running the evening show. When I checked with ticket vendor about this movie I could see the top rows being sold out in his monitor and when I entered the hall to my surprise almost 80 pcnt occupancy. I checked with ticket collector and he said movie is good and its going full house. He was right, before the start occupancy was more than 90%.
Now let's talk about movie, will start with star cast, no big names and not required also, there is a white tigress, very beautiful, deadly, powerful and adorable beast . All others don't matter. Film has no songs and background music is average(what can you expect in a tiger movie - roar!). For story I won’t blame the writer, such movies are more like national geographic documentaries, one has to have taste for such movies.
Special effects are very special and lifeline of this movie. Some of the scenes are memorable and will stay with for long time. I am feeling really proud after watching these scenes. I can without thinking for less than a second say that this is among the best 3 special effects movies of India. Director of photography is another star and has done beautiful work, some of the moments captured are amazing. Action sequences are cool, the amount of ammunition they were carrying was good enough to make rocky 1 to 5 .
Special mention about one of the leading ladies(sadly that pretty girl dies in midst of movie) and with her glamor departs from the movie. Kamal Sadhana(hero of Bekhudi) is director of the movie and editor as well. While he has done a decent job as director, editing could have been much better. This movie is very special for me, this movie has increased my hopes that one day we will have our own Ironman’s, Godzilla’s and Transformers. Producers have spent almost 100 times more(may be even more than that) on technical aspects than actors. Makers have shown the guts to produce a thriller and fantasy movie in today’s time when producers are spending only on stars and not on content. This movies has lot of flaws but first time someone has attempted to tell a story with so much technical ammunition. Hats off, best of luck and please watch this movie….
There is also this cub in movie which is lovely, adorable and soo cutee. Do sit after movie ends as they will show how special effects have been done in the movie, worth watching
