So this new device Freedom 251 took internet by storm but the publicity seemed to Skeptical many newspaper covered it up and even got the chance to lay their hands on the device and according to them those devices were actually adcom devices which are right now available on e-commerce site nearing 3500-4000 rs. Thus making the pricing an impossible thing to achieve.The device is totally clone of iphone look with a bulk of cheapness over it even it the photos shown by the company on their website
Specs: 4" display qHD 3.2 MP n 0.3 MP 1.3 gHz quad core 1 GB ram, 8 GB rom with expandable storage upto 32 GB 1450 mAh battery Android 5.1
Since the specs are very low end Thus the device is for common man with the patriotic feel of Make in INDIA by posing with the Indian flag painted on its rear shell which makes us feel proud since there are still a huge amount of people who don't have a smartphone and this is a initiation of making people more connected and aware.
But is it really possible some media people and tech savy striped down the devices specs and came up with conclusion that the device irrespective of added cost for marketing etc will cost 2700 INR and with taxes and everything added will cost nearing 3000 INR thus it seems impossible for a company to sell if for so cheap do Mention your views.

What I feel is that its too Shinny to be legit the whole process the whole way of marketing makes a sense of doubt in me. I know 251 INR is not a big amount but think about it say 1 lac user pay 291 INR with delivery pending for more than 4 months to 1 year depending on there production schedule Uptill then they already have the money in their account with interest crediting timely on that money and after the expected delivery time expires They company comes out and say hey We are sorry we couldn't make it true thus we are sorry and returning you money ASAP but till its a win win situation for them And many more scenarios are possible but since I lack alot knowledge in finance so consult one finance guy he will help you with the possibilities.
So my advice to people dont start a lamb trail but take a moment and think over it.
But whats true is still in doubt and I doubt it completely. Reasons:
A huge 4 months delivery time
The price itself
(confirmed) the device is made by Adcom
No COD, prepaid payments often make people sad.
Latest update: the site seems to be down claiming 6 lacs and above hits per second for purchase of device thus they will return with updated servers and solve the no congestion soon.
now other telcos are saying there is none documentation done regarding any such device.

The device is ADCOM Ikon 4 and can be bought from flipkart for 4000INR, thus it seems if it really true the devices sold by Ringing bell are either refurbished or may be due to over manufacturing of device versus poor sale Case which is been sold as scrap to atleast recover minimalist profit from it, Its my opinion m eager to listen your views and comments since I am not confident with this product yet
