I read this book because it was recommended to me when I subscribed to a Tim Sales website and because the network marketing company I work with constantly encourage self development. What I learned from this book has totally viewed the way I look at money and how to get it.

It's not a get rich quick book, nor is it a boring account of financial reports. The authors writing style is easy to understand and very interesting. I could really relate to the two characters in the book Rich Dad who in the book was his friend's dad who wasn't degree educated but very rich and poor dad, his own dad who was degree educated but never had a lot of money.

My own father was the most intelligent man I've ever know but sadly didn't have a clue about making money, on the other hand, my step dad is reasonably intelligent but business savvy beyond belief and is rich. I've always tried to follow both dads as mentors and come unstuck on many occassions.

For anyone who wants to make money, this book is a must! This is not a short term investment and will require some fundamental life changes however if methodically applied, in my opinion success is pretty much guarenteed in the long term.

I haven't read any other books by Robert Kiyosaki however I intend to very soon.
