Dear Rento Mojo Customers,


This is regarding my official complaint against RentoMojo Company. Briefly, I am Ash and I shifted to India recently from Australia where I was engaged as an environmental research scientist at Sydney.


While living, working and studying overseas at Australia, South Korea and USA, I made a wrong assumption by the Indian start-ups companies similar to RentoMojo. However, presently I feel very FRUSTRATED, HARASSED, CHEATED and TRAPPED by the Rento Mojo Staff especially Mr. Farrukh who guided me at each stage prior to the submission of the Token Money and following that his services and support has been far below the mark. Not only him, but I had similar negative experiences with other staff members as well. The entire staff of Rento Mojo seems like trained with TRICKS and STRATEGIES for Forgery, TRAPS and inappropriate code of conduct and unethical customer behavior. It's not very difficult to see the frustration of Rento Mojo ex-customers and current customers if we can search the customer reviews of this company at Google. For instance,

Initially, I had a very positive appreciation of the RentoMojo Company. However, my experience was entirely different once I placed my order and made payment. While Farrukh was very optimistic, positive and well behaved prior to the placement of order but he neglected my phone calls later. Also, I was very much frustrated and upset with the poor quality of products which were delivered to my residence. Initially, I placed an order for 3 items:-(1) LED TV(2) Bed and(3) Mattresses. Though these items were delivered to my account and I was asked for payment. And, I paid an amount of INR 2967(= Token Money of INR 500+ Deposit of INR 2467 during delivery).


The items delivered were far below the promised quality. Mr. Farrukh promised me of a Samsung LED TV and a Furniture BED and high quality Mattresses. However, when I checked online then I found that the net worth of all items combined together was even lesser than the Security Money which I have deposited. When I tried to reachout to Mr. Farrukh later then I was informed by him that I should better approach customer care toll-free number which was unreachable most of the items. Also, such a behavior of him was quite a SHOCK and CONTRARY to what he has promised previously. I also noticed that the RentoMojo team doesn't communicate with each other in a cohesive manner. That is, there is no consistency of information provided by different team members which further leads to a very poor quality customer experience.


I have personally advised RentoMojo's staff a couple of times for maintaining the consistency and homogeneity of information. Also, I personally advised Farrukh, Priyanka, Meenal, Sushant and others to kindly assign a single case manager to every RentoMojo customer in order to significantly improve the customer service experience. When I asked for reverse delivery of 2 items(Bed & Mattresses) then I requested the delivery/logistics staff(Mr. Sajid and others) to kindly issue me a clear description and receipt with a mention of the balance amount which is to be credited to my SBI account. If I continue to rent only 1 items then the Rento Mojo should credit an amount of INR 1367 for two items: bed and matresses(= INR 769 for Napster Bedlite+ INR 598 for Snooze Mattress Lite). Please find attached all relevant documents.


Since I am deeply stressed, frustrated and upset with the experience of Rento Mojo Rental Services. Hence, I have decided to withdraw form any services and hence, I will need a 100% REFUND of my money i.e, INR 2967. Or, else I will file a lawsuit/petition at the consumer court forum. The customer service experience with such rental companies is significantly better overseas. Also, my experience with RENTOMOJO company is far below the customer services standards of other competing rental businesses such as COHO(https://coho.in/), NestAway(https://nestaway.com/), Furlenco(https://furlenco.com/), Cityfurnish(cityfurnish.com/), Renttickle(https://rentickle.com/) etc.


For the sake of the benefit of other Indian customers, I will consistently post this blogs and similar blogs about my negative experiences with Rentomojo. I strongly believe that in order for any start-up to flourish, customer satisfaction should be the ultimate goal because customer satisfaction, positive feedback etc. can significantly boost RentoMojo's revenue generation or for any other company for that reason. I again mention that please do not consider this feedback negatively or as an outrage of personal retribution. Infact, I have an earnest request with RentoMojo's senior management staff(Founders/CEO's, MD's) to critically assess this feedback for a positive and constructive improvement.


I will greatly appreciate if you can kindly refund my entire amount at my SBI account. Hoping for your positive response. Thanks.
