They cheat the customers by charging them advanced rentals. It's been more than 20 days since I'm waiting to get the refund amount in my account.


This is not the first time I'm facing this Issue. Rentomojo has always caused the delay in taking actions. From picking up the items from the given address , to cancelling the amount , to responding back to the emails, changing the amount figures in the final invoice is every month to a amount which is Greater, rentomojo service was the worst in all aspects.


I have been calling these guys and reminding them about pending balance that they have to pay me, they always put me on hold lasting for half an hour and come back and say that the amount will be refunded in the next 24 hours and I will receive a call back from the Rentomojo team which I never received. The next time I call them they say that they were having technical issues, but I always receive their newsletters via Email on time.


Fed up of the service I decided to close the account and returned all their rented items. They sent me a payment link saying that I owe them 800. I asked them for a detailed invoice, and they took 5 days to reply. I had to remind them by making repeated calls, by emailing them and even chatting them on the live chat service, to get the detailed invoice.


And when they sent the detailed invoice it turned out that instead of owing them money, they owed me rupees 2277. Since then I have not heard from them. I wasted hours and hours and lots of money on call.


I have submitted a complaint in the consumer court and hope that necessary actions will be taken against the company.
