Great Car but Hopeless Dealer in Hyderabad

Renault has given away all it's dealership to one firm "Sri Sri Sri Autocars" both for sales and service across Hyderabad resulting in stubborn behaviour and absolute irresponsible and non-committal approach by the dealer.


I researched for 6 months to buy my dream car. Took multiple test drives and read hundred reviews, raised 100 queries including service assistance before I finalized on "Renault Scala". I booked it in September 2010 and dealer promised assistance in Finance documentation but the executives did nothing which led to delay. Once documentation was done the dealer informed that they could not honor the offer as date had passed. I asked them to cancel the booking. They again came back to me requesting to not to cancel the booking. Finally for the sake of my interest in the car, I agreed and asked my regular bank to finance the vehicle. Once I got clearance for finance myself, the dealer said the offer reduced by 15000/- since I dint take finance through the dealer. I was extremely angry and I complained to Renault India but no action taken. I then decided to go to Consumer forum following which the dealer retracted.


Finally took delivery of the car in December 2013.


Now I have still not received the document for 2 years Car insurance bond from the dealer in spite of reminders to the executives.


Car was due for routine service @2000 KM covered and when I asked the same dealer's service center to book appointment for service and arrange for pickup of vehicle, I was informed that dealer has withdrawn the facility though the same was proudly promised before I purchased the car.


Now they say I myself have to take the car to the service centre 25km away and sit there on a working day and bring it back myself. Being a doctor it's Impossible for me to waste my day on car servicing.


To ascertain the facts, I called up Renault service centers in Bangalore and Delhi and they informed that they do provide Pickup and Drop facility.


The attitude of dealer is very bad and the whole team there seems hopeless or helpless with no sense of commitment or sincerity towards customer satisfaction. Making false promises and breaking them seems a business strategy with Sri sri sri Automobiles in Hyderabad. Renault India seems ignorant or deliberately allowing monopolistic and customer satisfaction destroying attitude of the dealer here in Hyderabad.


A good Car company is killing its business in Hyderabad due to monopoly of this dealer.


I hope they open eyes and take remedial measures.
