Recently I bought Alto-800 in Vadodara after I changed my mind from Renault Kwid and I think I took a right decision.
The very first reason was the long waiting time to get the vehicle. Almost 3-4Months of waiting period after you book the car.
Other is the below points which prompted me to go for Alto -800
1) The capacity of KWID is same as Alto.
2) Renault only has one showroom/ service centre in Makarpura. - Kamdar Renault.
3) With this you can imagine what service can be expected after you purchase the car due to a single location. You can experience the rude attitude now also when you call to their showroom. They will not entertain your queries.
4) Maruti has improved the design of the Alto although it may not have the features as Kwid but the main important factor is the mileage which KWID has disappointed which I observed in my friends car.
5) The noise during the driving too much compared to Alto and considering it is a new car.
6) Maruti showroom are now better than before and they offer many discounts and accessories for free. You can get accessories worth 5-8K on Alto.
7) They support for all the documentation after you buy the car right from the RTO Clearance to installation of Number Plate.
Do think before going with the wind.
