I have personally driven this car for a while as one of my friends bought the car in early days of the release as he was so impressed with the features of the car I will list some of the great features of the beautiful car The Renault Kwid has achieved an overwhelming response from the buyers with the car clocking 1.5 lakh bookings since its launch in September last year and the 1.0-litre version of the Kwid is set to be launched this month. Dealerships across Mumbai have started accepting bookings for a token amount of Rs 10, 000. Earlier, Renault, among many other manufacturers, was left red-faced after 7 Indian cars failed the Global NCAP crash tests. Among those cars were 3 variants of the Kwid, all of which scored 0 out of 5 stars for adult occupant protection. While the cars that failed the tests were India-spec models, it looks like the yet-to-be-launched Brazil-spec Kwid is going to be equipped with ABS and 4 airbags. The Kwid is powered by a 0.8-litre petrol mill which churns out 54PS of power and 72Nm of torque. It mates with a five-speed manual gearbox. The car is priced at Rs 2.6 lakh(ex-showroom, Delhi).following is the link to the video for more practical review https://youtube.com/watch?v=41ONtYuYGzU
