Hi friends, I brought Renault Duster almost 9 months ago which cost to me around 9500000 rupees. But I have had a bad experience with this car. The water seeps into the passenger cabin even on slightest of showers. Morning you open the car to go to office and you find a pool of water inside the car. Have sent my car numerous time to service station and they have not been able to detect any problem. The reason given is accumulation of dust. I don’t believe that this car is so sensitive to outside dust getting collected and choking certain drain pipes which forces water inside the cabin. None of the other cars in my area including my other car has ever experienced water going inside the compartment. It is a technical defect which they are unable to fix. There are other number of problems - AC switches on itself. AC gives hot air even at 23-24 degrees. The temperature meter shows temperature shooting up to 52 - 57 degrees. One fears for life if the car is getting heated. No body knows if it temperature of engine or outside temperature. There is auto switch on the driver side for operating the window glass. This is also faulty. Instead of glass going up, it goes down. Customer support service is too bad. Customer care number has two options -(i) for sale(ii) defects and feedback. If you press one for sale, it doesn’t take 30 seconds for some one to respond. However, if you want to speak to any one for complaints or feedback, you only hear that customer service agents are busy. Please dial `1’ and leave your number. Even after leaving your number, no body responses. This company only is selling cars but don’t have technically sound people to take care of car. I will mot rocommend this car anyone. I will give it 1 star out of 5.
