I booked my Renault Duster 85 PS RxE Diesel under the name of Shivani Thapa on 8th of Aug 2012 from your  Gurgaon dealer, during that time the waiting was almost for 2 months. I spoke to your sales manager Mr Shishir and he assured me to get my car delivered before 3rd Oct since that’s my wife birthday and I wanted to give this car as a gift. Mr Shishir consistently assured me not to worry and book the car and he promised to get it delivered before 3rd.


After booking my car, I wanted to check the status and did a rigorous followup with Mr Shishir. Unfortunately it is easy to speak to Prime Minister of India rather than getting hold of this guy. After my multiple failure attempts. On 20th of Aug I went to the showroom again and got to know that Mr Shishir  is no more with Renault and hence the delivery of my car can not happen before mid of Oct.  For me this was a great surprise as I planned everything according to the commitment that a manager from Renault gave me.


On 20th Aug at the counter I met with Mr. Sharad, Manager Finance and sales had a long chat with him and explained all details , he assured me again that he would try his best and would get the car delivered by 8th Oct. I was in regular touch with Mr Sharad and was assured time and again that there is no delay .


Now comes the most interesting thing , Yesterday I received a call from Renault head office and they informed me that my car would get delivered after Feb 2013 ?? I almost fell from my chair to hear this statement . When I asked the gentlemen how is this possible he had no reason on explanation except the fact that this is as per the new guidelines of the Company.


My question is how is this possible? I booked a car 2 months in advance with multiple level of assurance from your sales and finance manager, either all of them are lying or they just don’t know what’s happening in the organization . In both the respect the company’s reputation is at stake. How come a company as big as Renault give their customer information at the time of delivery that it would be delayed for 4 more months . This is complete unacceptable and specially when the auto car segment is not in a good shape and every other company is offering discount to attract new customers . Renault is playing with fire .


I am extremely upset and disappointment with the whole experience , no one seems to be living upto the expectation and I have went through lot of mental harassment .
