After a horrendous experience with TIkona, I went for Reliance WiPod= Rs. 2000 waste:-(
My manager used to use the Reliance Pro3 dongle and recommended this product. So I borrowed her dongle to see the signal and speed at my place, it was not good but decent, I was able top open Youtube and Facebook, so I went ahead and bought this piece of crap. From day 1, the speed I am getting is between 10Kbps to 400 Kbps, although the company claims a speed of 14.7 Mbps, and the Reliance mobile store claimed 1-6 Mbps(saying that this is the actual speed the customers get).
The customer Service Reps. are a bunch of morons who seem to be sitting at a fish market(because of all the background noises, people talking in a South Indian language and random noises such as someone yawning) who have no clue as to what they are saying and then they feel free to hang up as and when they are out of the standard replies. If I spend 20 mins with these morons on the call, I have to say at least 20 times, "do you understand what I am saying and the issue I am facing?"
Good thing that I went with the prepaid option first to see how their service is, after all I am an ex-Tikona customer;-)
