I am writing this review for the second time becus the first I wrote a long review and reliance net connect connection got disconnected while I was typing this. So u can guess the inconsistency of net connect service.
I will make it short with a few points:
1)Connection keeps dropping every now and then and it is not at all advisable for people who need a consistent connection.
2) The speed is very slow now. Earlier we used to get around 100kbps to 150kbps download speed.Now its come down to 20-30kbps.
3) Very frequent down times of minimum 4 to 5 hours.On contacting customer care, they will say there is some issue with network so please check after 4 hrs. This is very bad as people who depend on the connection to get things done are setback by 4 hrs.For businesses that use this service this can cause huge losses.
4)Customer care is very irresponsible.A number of complaints were made(along with complaint id) and no response for them.not even a call back was done for any of the complaints. On asking customer care the status, they say its in progress and will get back in 24-48 hrs.But they never get back.The complaints are now 3 months old and still in progress! what amazes me is that the customer care representatives have no shame in telling the same dialogue for 3 months.Looks like they do not ave anything called SLAs or priorities.
5)The dongle creates frequent machine restart issues for Macintosh users(OSX) . The issue is with the software installed on the dongle.There is no update for this even on the reliance website.A complaint made for this went on deaf ears and as usual, no response at all.
FInally the conclusion is, do not go for this service at all.Its a waste of money.There are other service providers who provide much better service.
