The every time I look at revolution of science, its really surprising to find development of telecom industry where one sms and one call can take our message instantly, so I am really happy to be part of this luckiest generation...
the launch of reliance GSM looked like it was a promising one in dropping call rates which will be benefited to customer, so here is my short review about Reliance GSM according to based on my experience of its use on last one year....

call rate-
Reliance currently has many attractive schemes to attract new customers, from 1 paise per second call rate to Re 1 per 3 minute are the call rate schemes where every customer would prefered to accept, but it has a very different story..
Network coverage-
Atleast in mumbai, network coverage of reliance GSM is very very poor (comparatively to other network). I have come through many places where reliance shows no network...
Call quality:-
Reliance GSM had created a record of getting the largest number (first week customer) of subscriber..
so it looked like that number of customer is beyond it capacity.. and it was always impossible to connect any number in first 3 attempt... Numerous attempt has to be done for a single call..
Not only that, sometime if I call any number, it shows switch off or no response even if the calling number is behind me. many time it happens call connecting tune is heard, but the actual truth is that call was not connected to destination number and it is just a fake connecting tune..
although call drop is not so frequent if we stay in a same place and call, but believe me u really need many attempts for a call to get connected..
Sms delivery-
sms delivery from reliance looks cheaper, but it is nothing more than horrible trauma.
More than 50 percent of sms is not delivered, but charge amount gets deducted from balance. even in normal cases SMS delivery is very late and sometime message is totally not delivered and delivery report comes as "delivery failed"
regarding this, I had asked one of the executive in reliance world, Suman nagar, chembur and he said, it is the problem with everyone...
interesting, if it is problem with everyone, it has to be solved, but this problem is from last one year...
not only delivery of sms from reliance number, reliance takes lots of time to get message delivered in my number. I was suprised to find the facebook status update message of 26th Jan being delivered in my cell even at 28th Jan, while the actual posting was done on 26th jan itself. this never happened when I had my loop number used. It even happens the same with mouthshut mobile.
customer service-
customer service of reliance GSM is once again very poor, and u need many attempts to get it call once.. sometime it happens that u never get connection option to customer care. so once again, reliance GSM is very poor..
my conclusion-
because of its expansion on business, it looks like that reliance is hardly foucsing to improve quality in telecome sector.
how can a same problem be continued for more than a year?
Just by attracting a customer by its cheap call and sms rate is not a final at all, customer has to be satisfied from the service, but we can hear many complaints from customer at this point....
so next time, if u are using texting from reliance GSM, who knows if it is getting delivered after few days, or if you are calling anyone from reliance GSM be careful before blaming any of your friend for not recieving the call....
My reccommedation-
If you are the current existing reliance customer, you have already experienced it...
but if you are planning to go with reliance because of its attractive plan, I humbly request you to not to go for it...
