Hi my name is Himanshu, I m a int'l call center professional and have recently taken two reliance phones and I m quite happy with it.
The new offer which reliance has just launched is just great. you pay only Rs. 3350/- and you get a digital nice mobile with lots of freebies and instant connection. few nice points:
Digital mobile : the mobile is sleek, trendy, you can listen to music, surf and can do a lot of things.
instant connection : the moment you pay Rs.3350/- you get instant connection ( no longer post dated cheques)
STD, ISD, ICLD : no deposit. I make calls everyday and the connectivity of the std and isd calls are amazing.
Voice clarity: superior quality.
Network : amazing network, work even in congestive places in mumbai.
free roaming: I recently gifted a reliance to my girl friend becoz she travels a lot. now suppose if she goes to delhi, as soon as she'll reach delhi she'll get a new delhi reliance no. if she calls anywhere in delhi, she will bear the local call charge and if she receive any calls on her delhi reliance no. it's absolutely free. The best part is if anyone calls her on her old mumbai numer, the call will be forwared to her and she will pay only 40ps per minute, so that means there is no roaming charge.
I believe that reliance is a very big company, they are the billionairs and so they don't have to do these kind of things to make money, they have bigger resourses then this.
Apart from this just imagine how much reliance has already invested, the kind of advertisment, on installing server sites. So if they intend to do fraud I guess it would be a very stupid idea as they have a big rapport in national as well as international market.
I guess they are trying hard to give the best service, it's in the initial stage and the quality of service they are giving is amazing. I m sure it will grow.
