Hello to all Employees, Reliance Industries is a huge name in India. Once founded by Dhirubhai Ambani, is now devide in two groups(divided because of two sons, NOT because of Management reason), lead by two sons Mukesh and Anil Ambani.
There is a lot talk about Reliance as a brand and value, but I would talk about how does it feels when you work in a company like this. Working conditions Just to give you few reality check, An average Reliance Employee works:
- 6 days a week, Even in IT.
Officially, 9 hours, every Working Day. Assignments to be finished, as soon as they arrive. Most of time expectations are unrealistic. Leaves must be approved two months in advance.
Reliance hire drudge not employees Slavery Reliance HR comes up with agreement that employee will not quit Reliancefor next Two years. And they will get an annual increment of 10 percent annually, Only in case they perform well.
Of course the performance is measured by them.
Reliance force there employees to sign these agreement untill they sign it. So, a employee has to answer such question to his boss, Have u signed it?When are you going to sign it? It is for your betterment.
XYZ had signed it. Why are u not signing it? Such question to harass employee until they agree to the sign the labor agreement. And of course this agreement give Reliance cheap labour which can be exploited, burdened with lots of work, threatened but labour can not walk away.
No wonder why Reliance had never ever find a place in the list of "Top companies to work with" or "Best Employer*" or "Top Pay masters". Even though Mukesh and Aanil Ambani are
among the Most Richest Indian and among the top 50 Richest in world.
*I wonder some one who lives in a Billion dollar residence(a 27 story building) with a full time staff of 600, to maintain his residence, can be such an inhuman to his own employees. Its because of these employees, his father have touched these height, Infact at a point of time, Dhirubhai was a Petrol pump employee in Dubai.
Instead of greeting employees, Reliance is s#cking their own employees to get more rich and they are quite successful. So it not only earning from sales but reducing cost even if it is unethical.
I know most of the times you do not have options to job offer, but if it is Reliance think again, because you might end up in a Rat Trap.
