Am writing my second review after much thought...Why???? Maybe because I want everybody to like what I write and give me a rating of Highly Recommended. So all you people Are you listening.......LOL....Hungry for Recognition .......Nah...
For all the pople who have not watched this advertisement: It starts with a kid on his bed in the night. Seems as if he is missing his dad so he gives a call to his dad who is out of the city and asks him to tell him the story. Dad is in the conference but he leaves the conference and then starts telling him a Bedtime Story. Dad is finished with one story and then the son demands for the next one. And the ad. ends showing the Reliance Logo and the tagline.
This commercial was able to convey the message to the public about the cheap STD rates of the Reliance phone. i.e. STD @ 40 p/min. By taking a small kid in the commercial, it showed the affordibility of the mobile for the common people. Listening to BedTime Stories on the mobile phone also lays stress on free incoming along with the low call rates on the mobile. And yes, not to forget about PAN India coverage.
I am not aware of the agency who have conceptulize and executed the creation of this commercial. But they were successful in making a simple advertisement, that in a way says quiet a lot about the product features.
The models taken in this commercial have done quiet a good work although there was not much scope to show the talent. The kids voice was cute and his expression and acting as well is commendable. Papa on the other hand, also did well.
Overall, The Commercial Agency gave the worth of the money paid by Reliance to them and the Commercial was able to Highlight the Features of the products. The commercial is worth a dekko and it lingers in the memory for quiet a while
