Reliance Healthwise Gold Plan For The Age Slab Upto 35 Years For 2 Lacs Floater Cover, Initially The Insurance Premium With Service Tax Was Rs.2, 040/-. But Later On Reliance General Insurance Enhanced The Premium For The Same Without Service Tax To Rs.8, 429/- And Also Made Major Changes In There Healthwise Policy To Further Enhance The Insurance Premium, Previously The Policy Holder Was Entitled For The Reduction Of Premium Gradually Upto 50% If No Claim Reported In The Policy, Now They Have Changed The Same To Gradually Upto 20% If No Claim Reported In The Policy
Now From April 2016 They Have Reduced The Commission Of There Agent For Both The Fresh And Renewal Healthwise Policy From 15% To 2.5% & 5% On Case To Case Basis And Asking There Agent To Force The Customer To Change Their Existing Healthwise Policy In To The Reliance Healthgain Policy To Get 15% Commission.
As Minimum Sum Insured Initially Offered In The Reliance Healthwise Policy Is Rs.1 Lacs On Floater Basis And The Minimum Sum insured Of Reliance Healthgain Policy Under Plan A Starts From 3 Lacs. Those Who Have Already Suffered From The Disease Such As Heart Problem Etc. And Also Taken The Claim Under Reliance Healthwise Policy. As Per Underwriting Norms Of The Health Policies Of All The Insurance Companies I Don’t Think That Reliance General Is In A Position To Enhance The Sum Insured Of The Persons Already Suffered From Heart Problem Etc. .Also After A Certain Age In A Health Policy Reports Needed For the Enhancement Of The Sum Insured And The Report Must Shows That Currently Policy Holder Is In Good Health
Lastly This Reduce Of Commission Of There Insurance Agent May Open A new Trouble For The Policy Holders Of The Reliance Healthwise Policy As Agent May Ask Commission From The Customer while Renewing Their Insurance Policy Or Can Ask Service Charge At The Time Of Claim In The Policy Later on And Customer Is In A Very Bad Situation, Because Due To His Health Condition He Can Not Port His Health Policy To The Another Insurance Co.
